Lombani Ndhlovu, aged 20, got married in 2023. He has a daughter and resides in Etchiyeni Community. In his family, farming was the primary means of earning money. However, it was challenging to survive because farming requires capital, and he only had limited resources.

When Wells for Zoë came to the community, Lombani started working. This decision enabled his family to survive as it provided an alternative means of income that did not require substantial capital investment. He believes that this project needs to continue because, for his family, it is the only viable option for sustainability.
