Wells for Zoë may collect personal data including: name, email address, phone number and other personal details which you may choose to provide, personal account preferences; transactional data for the purposes of managing donations, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.


This type of information is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the form of consent required by applicable law and its use is limited to the objectives for which it was collected, as described in this Privacy Policy.


We may also collect information about your use of our Website (for example, the URL you came from; your browser type and the pages of our Website that were viewed during your visit)


Any credit card or debit card data you provide is securely handled by PayPal as our third party payment processor (or other third party payment processor) as we use from time to time. We never store your credit or debit card details.

Purpose of processing personal data


We collect personal data for the purposes of the operations of our charitable work, collection and management of charitable donations, and compliance with statutory obligations. Purposes may include:


  • if you supply personal information when using our website;
  • when you make a donation through our partner Give (see Third Party Platforms below);
  • when you sign-up to receive newsletters or email notifications from us;
  • if you order any merchandise; and/or
  • if you raise a query or issue with us.



Wells for Zoë has technical, administrative and physical safeguards in place to help protect against unauthorized access, use or disclosure of your personal information we collect or store. Access to your personal data is restricted to those with a need to know the information to carry out the identified purpose or the specific purposes in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis.

This Privacy Policy outlines the information usage practices of Wells for Zoë. By accessing, browsing or using this Website or by submitting your personal information to Wells for Zoë, you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not submit your personal information to us. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Wells for Zoë processes all personal data in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of GDPR. 

Third party platforms / plugins


We use third party platforms / plugins from other websites to facilitate our operations including for processing donations, shop purchases and our newsletter. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is only used by those third parties for specific, lawful purposes in accordance with this privacy policy.


These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Data retention


We will retain personal data for a for a long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it has been obtained. In respect of financial transactions for donations, data will be held for at least as long as the law requires for tax or accounting purposes.
