We are really lucky – because of the great work by Roseanne Curtin (a member of our board) – to have been selected as AOL Impact Cause of the Day on two occasions: 1st Feb 2013 and 16th March 2014.
In 2014 we were selected by Lucan Lions Club to be awarded one of their cheques for our work. They generally give awards to groups who work locally and we were really delighted that they included us. It is a huge amount of money and we will certainly make good use of it.
We are very lucky to be supported by the wonderful Sisters of Bon Secours from Cork. Because of their generous donation a great many poor people in Northern Malawi will benefit, starting with Clean Water which will enable them to do much more for themselves.
