He was born in Zambia and has two brothers and four sisters. His mum lives in Zambia but his dad passed away. In 2009 he moved to Mzuzu for work. He married Nancy and they have three lovely children called Duncan, Mtende and Glory.
He studied for two years in the high school Teaching Training College (TTC) and taught primary in Karonga. Later he studied for three more years at Domasi College of Education to achieve a diploma in secondary education. After that he wanted to be enrolled for bachelors degree but couldn’t proceed as he couldn’t manage to pay the fees. Now he is a biology and mathematics teacher in a secondary school and since 2013 at the Wells for Zoë Centre for Learning on Saturdays.
“I feel these subjects are very important to the lives of students since they equip them to solve the day-to-day life problems” – he said.
“It’s good to work with Wells for Zoë because I am able to teach relevant skills and knowledge to the students so that they become self reliant. What WfZ does for the girls is excellent, picking them up for extra needed school classes” – he said.
