She qualified as a Primary Teacher but wasn’t posted for three and a half years. There are about 20,000 teachers trained in the country in the same position, while the pupil teacher ratio can be as high as 260:1 in rural areas.
By the time she was given her posting, in the middle of nowhere and miles from home, we made her an offer she couldn’t refuse and she didn’t!!!
She is an amazing young woman and having as much of an impact as she would as a teacher if not more.
