One thing that Mel learned a long time ago in business is that, if circumstances dictate, you change the plan – but never the goal!

So, slight change of plans. The Cairo to Cape Town cycle has been moved back a bit, to January 2021. For Mel, that means a longer commitment to Wells for Zoë. For WfZ it means a longer commitment from Mel, who will be travelling up through Africa with Jane in the spring promoting Wells for Zoë all the way, its logo emblazoned on the side of his beloved Land Rover.

Meanwhile training for the gruelling but inspiring cycle continues and he will be saddled up for the big take-off in January 2021.

Physical goal: Cape Town.

Financial goal: €40,000.

Definitely no changes there!
