This well was built by the villagers themselves. Before the well was installed, people in the village of Wilson were collecting water from open wells, often located a long distance from the village.
People in the area depend mainly on farming and small businesses for their livelihoods, and many live in good houses. There are schools in the area, and many children attend school. The village also has a pre-school, but the main problem is that there are no trained teachers.
