People in Dakalimale Ndole village are happy to have their own pump providing free water for the first time. Previously, people and animals were using the same source of water, but they are now happy to have good and safe water from the pump we have installed for them.

Most people in the village are poor, and many depend on farming for their livelihoods. This year, they are hoping for a good harvest, having mainly grown maize, soya and sweet potatoes. The roads in the area are very bad. There is a secondary school, but it is far from the village, and many children do not attend school.
