People in Elijah Skani village were over the moon to receive a pump for the first time since the village was established. They had approached several offices for assistance with their water problems, but no help was provided. They are very thankful to Wells for Zoë for assisting the village within a short period of time.

The village is located far from trading centres, making it difficult for people to access their daily necessities. Most people depend on farming for their livelihoods, but there are no good markets where they can sell their produce. Instead, vendors travel to the village and buy their produce at very low prices.
