People in Sikwakwawo village had been using the same source of water from open wells, but they are now happy to have good and safe water from the pump we have installed for them.

Most people in the village are poor, and many depend on farming for their livelihoods. This year, they are hoping for a good harvest, having mainly grown maize, cabbage and onions. The roads in the area are very bad. There is a secondary school in the village, but many children do not attend because their families cannot afford to send their children.
