We were warmly welcomed in the village of Maloyu. The villagers expressed many thanks to Wells for Zoë for providing clean and safe water. For many years, they had been drawing water from unprotected open wells, and both adults and children faced many difficulties in collecting water. They had approached several organisations for help, but no one had been able to solve their water problem.
Many of the villagers are good farmers who grow a variety of crops, but they lack reliable buyers who will pay a good price for their produce.
