We were warmly welcomed by the villagers, who had hoped for access to clean and safe water for many years. They had approached several organisations and individuals for assistance, but no one had been able to help. They expressed their sincere gratitude to Wells for Zoë for responding quickly to their request and providing this much-needed support.

Many people in the village depend on farming for their livelihood, while others run small businesses to support their families. Although there are schools in the area, many children drop out at an early age because their families cannot afford the school fees.
