The pump was successfully installed in the village of Misheck Kanyinji, and several villagers gathered at the site to witness the installation of their first water pump. In the past, lives have been lost because of water-borne diseases caused by unsafe water sources. The villagers expressed their sincere gratitude to Wells for Zoë for providing them with clean and safe water.

The people in the village are hardworking and are eager to welcome more organisations and people of goodwill to support the development of their community and help improve their quality of life.
