Many villagers warmly welcomed us to the village of Naluso in the Kadziwa area. The people were very happy to receive a water pump in their village for the first time, and the women danced to show their appreciation. They had hoped to have a pump for many years but did not know where to seek assistance. They expressed their sincere gratitude to Wells for Zoë for responding quickly to their request for water support.

The people in the village are poor and lack many basic services in their daily lives. For example, there are no local markets where they can sell their crops after harvest, and there are no nearby health facilities, making it difficult for them to access medical care when they become ill or to sell their produce.
