The installation work was well done, and people gathered in large numbers to show their happiness and to see how the pump works. They had previously been drawing water from a stream with poor-quality water, but the villagers are now happy to have clean and safe water in their village for free.

The people are poor and often struggle to find money. They depend on farming for their daily living. The roads in the area are in poor condition, causing movement problems. Schools are available, but many children drop out due to a lack of school fees.
