Many villagers warmly welcomed us to the village of Chimtolo. The people were very happy to receive the pump in their village for the first time. They had wanted a pump for many years but did not know where to go for help. They are very thankful to Wells for Zoë for responding quickly when asked for water assistance.

The people in the village are poor and lack many things in their day-to-day life. For example, there are no markets to sell their crops after harvest, no health facilities, and they have problems accessing medical help when they become sick.
