Since birth, the people of Kapakasa village had been drinking unsafe water from open wells and had long hoped for a pump. Lives have been lost in the past due to water-borne diseases, but now the community is thankful to Wells for Zoë for providing them with clean and safe water.

The villagers are hard-working farmers, and some have travelled to South Africa in search of better opportunities. They are eager to welcome more organisations and well-wishers to work in their area to help uplift their lives.
