Many people gathered at the site as the pump was being installed for the first time. The villagers were impressed with how the pump works and expressed their gratitude to the organisation for prioritising the lives of poor communities. The installation process was completed successfully.

However, due to climate change, agricultural production has declined over the years, leaving many villagers in poverty. High rates of waterborne diseases have also been a significant problem in the area, but with the installation of the pump, the villagers are hopeful that such illnesses will no longer affect them. Additionally, some individuals suffer from malnutrition due to food shortages.
