It was a special day for the people of Katengeza village as they witnessed the installation of a pump for the first time. Despite asking various organizations and both government and non-government bodies for help, none responded, making this moment even more meaningful. They are deeply grateful to Wells for Zoë for promptly addressing their need for clean water.
The village lacks a preschool and is seeking assistance in establishing one. Many villagers are illiterate, and farming remains their primary means of sustaining their lives. They grow crops such as maize and groundnuts, which provide both food and income.
