The pump installation was successfully completed, with several villagers present to express their gratitude to Wells for Zoë and to learn how to use the pump effectively. The women are particularly happy, as they had previously been walking long distances to fetch water from neighbouring villages that have the WfZ pump.

The villagers are mostly poor, with many working piece jobs on large farms owned by wealthier people in nearby towns. They are also highly interested in the land restoration programme and are asking if it could be extended to their area.
