The pump installation was completed successfully, with all parts properly fixed and the pump now functioning well. Several villagers gathered to witness the installation and express their heartfelt gratitude to Wells for Zoë for providing them with clean and safe water. Previously, the villagers had been drawing water from open wells, which led to high cases of diarrhoea and cholera, claiming many lives in the community.
The villagers primarily rely on small-scale farming for their livelihood. However, the roads to the area are in poor condition, and the secondary school is far, causing many children to drop out after primary school due to the distance and lack of resources.
