The villagers were overjoyed to witness the installation of the pump in their community for the first time and were incredibly grateful to receive it. Previously, they had been drawing water from rivers, which were unsafe for human consumption. The village chief expressed heartfelt thanks to Wells for Zoë for providing them with clean and safe water at no cost.

The people in this area primarily depend on farming for their livelihood. While they face poverty, they are hardworking and dedicated to improving their lives through their farming efforts.
