The pump installation in Siniza village was a great success, and the villagers were filled with happiness as they witnessed the installation of the first pump in their village. For years, they have been relying on water from open wells and streams, which posed serious health risks. Despite seeking assistance from various organisations, they were unable to find help. Now, they are extremely grateful to Wells for Zoë for providing them with clean and safe water.
The villagers are mainly farmers, growing crops such as maize and groundnuts for food and income.
