The people of Bayani Nyirenda were overjoyed to witness the installation of the first pump in their village. Water has been a long-standing challenge for them, with many suffering from waterborne diseases for over 24 years. However, they are confident that this new pump will put an end to those problems.

The villagers are hardworking and dedicate much of their time to farming. They grow a variety of crops for food and income, and many children attend school. Despite the presence of schools, many children are forced to drop out due to the lack of school fees.
