People in this village warmly welcomed us and the villagers came in their large numbers. The pump was well fitted and it is now functioning well. People heard about this organization through our coordinator who transferred to the area. They had Marion mission pump some 5 years ago and they are all broken and are not maintained. Due to this people were drawing water from open wells which was not good for their health. Now people are very happy that they have their own pump where they will be drawing water.

In this village people are very poor such that they are living in thatched houses. They struggle to find the food for a day and a lot of children are not going to school because of school fees. They do farming but they produce less because they don’t have money to buy fertiliser.
