Her husbands name is Patrick Phiri and they have 6 children, all girls. The names are Funa, Tikhare, Tionge, Thakozani, Chimwemwe and Madalitso. Starving to find food and clothes she started working in Lusangazi Farm managing pine seedlings. First she started as a dayworker but still had trouble with her finances. One day she visited Adamson explaining her circumstances, he consulted John who after he heard her story employed her in WfZ.
She is proud that she is working here because she gets paid and now she can buy clothes and food for the kids and that makes her very happy.
“If we continue to work as a team, we can achieve anything” – she said.
