This is a very special pump for Mary, myself and our family. It’s in Matuli village, Elamulani, Northern Malawi.

It was installed in memory of Jacinta Wright who died at a very young age leaving husband Deglain and a very young family.

Deglain is our contact with Electric Aid, the staff arm of our Irish Electricity Supply Board, who support humanitarian projects globally.

Here Mary outlined the circumstances of the donation and the large gathering of villagers prayed and sung for Jacinta and her family. They will continue praying every time they get water from the well.
