William at work

4th March 2014:

William at WorkThis is our pump maker, William.
I went with him to a village in Dunduzu to look at some wells which needed new pumps. This one needed a new top so William got into action and mixed the concrete to make the slab.
The people were so thankful especially the old Gogos/grannies who we’re relating various illness to us in themselves and the little ones as they are drinking water from a stream.
We will return next week to install the pump here and replace two broken pumps which we also assessed today.

A great day to be alive as this is why I came to Malawi…
